Paper Pieced Bunny
How cute is this bunny, he would be great on a easter scrapbook page or on a handmade greeting card. I have the free pattern for you to download here, it's in pdf format so you'll need Adobe Reader to view it. Instructions to make the bunny come with the pattern pieces. If you do make one I would love to see it, leave a link in the comments section.Saturday, March 29, 2008
Knitted Mobile Phone Sock Cover
Materials:
1 pair 4mm knitting needles (US size 6) (UK- size 8)
Yarn Needle
Yarn: Moda Vera Jelly 50g Ball (colour no: 02)
Tension/Gauge: 5 Sts & 8 rows = 1 inch in stocking stitch
To make sock cast on 14 Sts. Knit in stocking stitch (knit 1 row, purl 1 row) until work measures 22cms (or desired length). Cast off.
With right sides together, fold in half lengthways so that cast on and off edges meet. Using backstitch join side seams. Turn to right side. Your sock is now finished.
If you have a larger sized mobile phone you can make the sock larger by casting on more stitches or increasing the length. It's also fun to experiment with different yarn and needle sizes.

Purl Frog

I got the free pattern for this frog at The Purl Bee . With my frog I added rice instead of mung beans and used black glass beads for his eyes. I haven't named him yet and will be making more as my kids now want one each! There are also a few other free patterns at the Purl Bee.
